Health Center Facts

In 2013, Rhode Island's Federally Qualified Community Health Centers (FQHCs) served over 146,000 patients. In addition, the FQHCs provided over 602,000 patient visits.

Every Rhode Islander has the right to affordable, comprehensive healthcare.

The Rhode Island Health Center Association works to support, sustain, and strengthen community health centers so they can provide high-quality, comprehensive health care. Rhode Island’s nine community health centers provide preventive primary medical, dental and behavioral health care services, including dental services, to over 146,000 individuals at 29 locations across the state.
